This same day i scheduled at the livonia location and saw a doctor. The doctor told me i had a severe infection in my foot. She brought in ANOTHER doctor who also examined. They prescribed two antibiotics AND told me to buy the over the counter meds the southfield Dr. was going to prescribe. They said it was good i came in today because it was close to spreading to the bone. They had a nurse come in and clean and dress my foot. Dr.Patrick seriously looked at my foot and thats it. Not even more than 30 seconds of eye contact with my foot.
Today i went in because i had very bad hives and my right foot was swollen and my small toe on that foot was severely swollen, purple, and in pain. My appointment was with Dr. Patrick and the entire appointment he had a huge attitude problem. He asked me questions related to allergies, eyed my foot, eyed my back, and said he would prescribe benedryl and some other over the counter ointment. I asked about my foot, the man says "oh well what do you want me to do? An X-ray?" This man who should be a DOCTOR is asking me what to do about my foot... At this point i refused service and ended the appointment because I refused to pay a co-pay to be told to go to cvs and get medicine i already planned on getting before the appointment.
much as I love the others. I love that they have a wonderful Pharmacy in house and the head pharmacist is is a wonderful guy that knows his patients by name. They also have physical therapy there and I have had to use it a couple of times and it was so convenient to be able to go to physical therapy so close to my home because I live in Southfield. They have a wonderful lab there and I appreciate the fact that I'm able to have my lab work done there. The only reason I did not give the clinic a 5 star review is that the Southfield Clinic does not have an x-ray department. When I first started going there in 1996 they did have x-ray department there but at some point within a few years later they closed it. It certainly would be wonderful if Henry Ford would once again open the x-ray department at the Southfield Clinic. If they would do that I would rate the clinic a 5 +!
Unfortunately I lost both the doctors because each went into private practice. My last doctor left just this past July 2017. But I have been so pleased with the service there that I'm confident I will be able to get a new provider there as my primary doctor that I will love as
I have been going to the Southfield Henry Ford clinic since 1996. In those 20 years I have had two doctors both of which were excellent
I would gladly refer anyone to Dr. Ibrahim, she came on a couple of years ago and has been awesome. She takes time to explain potential diagnoses and treatment in a very down to earth manner. I also love the new MyChart system, it makes reordering prescriptions and setting follow ups super easy.
